"As we were heading to the Fljót Valley in Northern Iceland, we stopped in Siglufjörður, a small fishing town on the way. As we drove through the town, I immediately took notice to the colourful buildings. The weather was an overcast day, so the colours really popped against the snow-covered mountains and sky."

Artist - Julie Mullock
Originally from the United States, Julie grew up near Boston, MA and relocated to Sydney, Australia with her husband in 2012, where she is currently based. They share a love for travel and their journey has taken them to some incredible places over the years.
Specializing in Landscape & Nature, Julie became an Accredited Professional Photographer with the Australian Institute of Professional Photography (AIPP) in 2019. She is also a member of the Professional Photographers of America (PPA) working towards a Master of Photography degree.
She has earned both national and international awards. The image titled Siglufjörður was awarded the Single Shot category winner for the 2022 Photographer of the Year competition and earned 2nd Place in the Nature, Seasons category in the Professional 2023 International Photography Awards.
